The Picnic House is located inside Prospect Park, behind Litchfield Villa.

The path to the RIGHT of Litchfield Villa will take you directly to the Picnic House

Important Details: 

1) No vehicles are permitted to enter Prospect Park. You may only gain entrance to the Picnic House by walking into the park. We recommend the walking path to the right of Litchfield Villa. 

2) Parking is very limited (see below). We highly recommend using mass transit, taxis, Uber, or Hailo (download these apps to your smart phone!)*.

3) We recommend comfortable shoes because there will be lots of dancing!  If it rains, the path through the park to the Picnic House can be a bit muddy, so weather appropriate shoes are also recommended! 

More on Parking

Limited parking is available in the Litchfield Villa parking lot.  Please note that parking spaces are open to the public and available on a first come, first served basis. 

If you park in the Litchfield Villa lot, walk up the stairs located in the middle of the lot and follow the path that will take you directly to the Picnic House. There is also the option of street parking in the neighborhood.

How to get to the Picnic House from St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church

CAR (Estimate 10-15 minutes): 

Head west on Montague St toward Henry St. Take the 1st left onto Henry St. Turn left onto Atlantic Ave. Slight right onto FlatbushAve. Slight right onto Grand Army Plaza. Keep right to stay on Grand Army Plaza (look for signs for Prospect Park West). Continue onto Prospect Park West.  Litchfield Villa will be on your left. 

SUBWAY (Estimated 30-40 minutes):

2 or 3 Train to Grand Army Plaza - Walk Along Plaza Street West to Prospect Park West. Continue on Prospect Park West to Litchfield Villa. Follow path behind Litchfield Villa to the Picnic House.

 F Train to 7th Avenue Station at 9th Street - Walk uphill along 9th Street to Prospect Park West.  Continue along the park to Litchfield Villa. Follow path behind Litchfield Villa to the Picnic House.
